Project Overview

Luma Coffeehouse started as a cozy local café with a loyal neighborhood following. They wanted to evolve into a lifestyle brand that reflected their values of craftsmanship, comfort, and creativity — while opening opportunities for retail and e-commerce.

The Challenge

Despite great products and community engagement, their visual identity felt disconnected across touchpoints. The café’s online presence didn’t match its in-store charm, and the brand lacked a cohesive storytelling element to support expansion.

The Approach

We built a brand strategy rooted in “Slow Living Through Coffee.” The design system embraced warm neutrals, natural textures, and expressive typography. We revamped their packaging, introduced lifestyle photography, and rebuilt the website with a magazine-style layout highlighting their products, people, and stories.

The Result

Luma transformed from a café into a local movement. Social engagement doubled, merchandise consistently sold out, and the café gained retail partnerships with two boutique stores.
